Low Vision Resources
There are a growing number of resources for people with low vision, their caretakers and families. Resources include community groups, state agencies and national and international organizations, many of whom have web sites that provide information on everything from vision rehabilitation and support groups to job training and even travel packages for the partially sighted.
Whenever you communicate with a service group, eye professional or anyone involved in the circle of care, be sure to ask what organizations they suggest.
There is help and support out there, and to get your started, here are just a few of the available resources. So go ahead, and take those steps and will lead to more independence.
